You are sitting looking downwards while speaking to the candidate. When asked what you have come in for today you are very teary and find it difficult to speak. You are complaining of this really bad headache. It is affecting both sides of your temples. Point towards it when you mention the area. When asked about onset you mention it appeared 5 weeks ago but has gradually worsened. The headache was at its worst last night and you could not handle it. If asked about vision, you cannot see out of your right eye. This has never happened before. You also experience pain when eating around your jaw, only reveal this once asked about your jaw. You deny any neck stiffness, no rashes, no speech difficulties and no coordination issues. If asked about scalp tenderness you mention you are unable to sleep on the right side and it is very tender, like someone pulled your hair out. 

 

You are concerned something more serious than a headache is going on. You have tried several tablets from your GP which all have not worked. You expect to get a brain scan today as soon as possible.
